[development] SQLite and Drupal 7 -- third coming

My concerns are extra dependencies, complexity of deployment, making it
mandatory, ...etc.

But now I am starting to see the benefits of this now, having been a bit
skeptical at first.

You mean *PHP* 5.2, right? Which is the minimum for Drupal 7.x.
