[development] problems using sites.php

I have a working drupal6 site online and now I want to work with it
offline. I was trying to achieve this using sites.php, but it don't
work.

I am sure sites.php is read because if I add die("message"); in it I
read the message, but it don't work. The content of the file is:

$sites = array(
//  'www.example.cat/site_drupal' => 'www.example.cat',  //ONLINE
  'localhost/site_drupal' => 'www.example.cat',
//localhost
);

Any hint?
