Pardon me for parachuting in here, but was the intention
to have documentation contributed/edited in the form of
publication markup such as Docbook or LaTeX?
If so, I have a fair amount of experience with both Docbook and
TeX/LaTex, and have been interested in trying to get something
along these lines working for the book module also. I have a
fairly immediate need in the form of a project I'm working on
that requires shared editing of technical content
(mathematics) for print publication. Hence, I'd be willing to
commit to helping move this project along.
I have certain reservations about inflicting technical
typesetting on the general population, though. Seeing naked
XML or LaTex may be scare away potential contributors.
