[drupal-docs] Do you really want doc books?

I would not be hesitant to use a different technology, with which the 
same pluses come (version management, easy multiple formatting output, 
etc). It does not matter what the source format is, as long as it is 
easy to edit and format and easy to publish in whatever output form.

As far as I use the docbook name here, it is a synonim for "version 
management (ability to see changes, accept and apply patches), easy 
exporting, defined style guide". All this can be done with the book 
module, if enough developers step up to extend it to be able to do so, 
and all this is already included in a DocBook+CVS combo. It is an easy 
editing (book module) vs. easy management (docbook+cvs) question if we 
only think in using existing solutions. Starting to write documentation 
with developing the tools ourselfs will not lead to quick and shiny 
solutions soon however.
