I think this should go into the http://drupal.org/about section.

Also....

If we are going to have a Drupal distributions section, then I suggest a
node with the intro paragraph by itself and each distro to have it's own
sub node. This is venturing into grey lines of advertising and
directing people to other sources. Just mentioning it.

Drupal Distributions....
In the Linux world, "distros" like Red Hat, SuSE and Ubuntu save normal
users from having to start with the kernal and build the operating
system from component parts. In a similar way, Drupal has been used as
the kernal of fuller distributions that offer a collection of extra
modules, add-on software and documentation in a single download. Using
one of these distributions can greatly accelerate the process of setting
up a full-featured website. Here is a list of the major Drupal
distributions and their advantages.

To be listed here, you must meet the following criterea.........
1. Active contributer in the community
2. Live web page
3. other random stuff if at all-------------------------

I don't think that we should have a feature list for that distribution
though. If we have a feature list then our site goes out of date when

I think the distribution should have a description and link to their
page. For instance for CivicSpace they would have this.... And a link
to their site.

A community organizing platform

CivicSpace is a community organizing platform currently based on Drupal
4.6. It's focus is to allow you to build communities online and offline
that can communicate effectively, act collectively, and coordinate
coherently with a network of other related organizations.

CivicSpace enables bottom-up people-powered campaigns to operate on a
more level playing field with more traditional top-down organizations,
and, similarly, allows top-down organizations to leverage the power of
grassroots organizing.

Drupal modules for v4.6 are compatable with CivicSpace vX.Y.
