[drupal-docs] [research] Maximizing Drupal's Impact on Communities

Transparency is key in any open source or research
project, I agree. I will be working this summer as an
intern of CivicSpace Labs doing business development
and research for CS in the world of artists and arts
communities. I will also be doing contract work for
Youth Movement Records and so the research will be
beneficial for developing YMR's site (as well as
developing drupal music sites in the future).

The goal is to try and find out what the art community
needs are from a non-technical angle and to try and
see how those needs can be met with drupal. There
seems to be a communication gap between developers and
communities (especially non-technical ones). I really
hope others will do (or are doing) similar projects to
concretely find out how to leverage Drupal for those
communities. No doubt this will also help with
development, documentation and drupal marketing
efforts.
