A lot of artists needs are very basic, or will overlap
(getting art to people, connecting with other artists,
etc.) which is really the focus, to identify these
overlapping concerns.  However, artists will not be
split by media or style (visual, audio, writing,
performance) but rather categorized by the needs of
different sectors (commercial, nonprofit, public,
informal) keeping in mind that there is
cross-pollination between sectors.
