dont tell me that someone one this list isnt using skype yet? sure, it is a defacto standard (no SIP or other open voip standard) and it is not open source and lacks the potential to integrate with a ldap dir.

but "it just works" out of the box, you can sms to skype and vice versa, dial out to landlines, use voicemail, it works behind NAT (huge problem for other protocols)  /and/ you can setup conference calls.
