I am interested in taking on this role if the community and you think
I am an appropriate candidate.

I do not have the longest experience with Drupal and it's
documentation but have been pretty steeped in Drupal pursuits for
more than a year now. I run several Drupal websites (you can see one
at smm.org/buzz ) as part of my job as a Developer at the Science
Museum of Minnesota. I am working to drive development of several
new community sites for our institution right now, so I am committed
to Drupal as a system for the indefinite future.

I have a vested interest in improving the core Drupal documentation,
as I hope to promote drupal as a tool to help museums grow their
ability to interact with their communities (I will be leading a
workshop on this at our October conference of Science Centers). I
also have a strong interest in standards based web design, usability
(of Drupal and the documentation), and semantic structuring of
information.

Wow, that sorta sounds like a campaign speech but if people think I
could help facilitate a better documentation team please consider
me. However, if people have objections my feelings won't be hurt and
feel free to say so otherwise.

thanks
