Angie's idea sounds great since it will solve that usability issue. If a 
prototype could be constructed soon, updating the links can be part of 
updating the docs for 4.7. All will have to be reviewed anyway with 
versioning information supplied. Updating those few links for each doc 
shouldn't add too much to that review process.
