Per this thread [1] something about code style; apparantly the style
preference has changed. Coding standards [2] (handbook) states elseif
as preferred style. Core uses both elseif and else if (110:216).  *.inc
prefers elseif with (83:39), whereas modules prefer else if (177:27).


Can someone knowledgable and with sufficient permissions go over the
coding standards page and change it?
