[documentation] first post

First post.

I've added myself to the documentation list, and subscribed to the 
Documentation ticket queue, because eventually I will contribute 
documentation for ecommerce. I've started reading bits and pieces in the 
handbook about writing documentation.

In the meantime, I'm always happy to take the initiative and update 
documentation as required, but I haven't quite worked out whether that 
can be done by me directly. I think I'll sit in the background for a 
little while and work out how things generally proceed.
