I think one of us is confused. :)

The theme on drupal.org, which is what I thought we were talking about 
amending, is Bluebeach. AFAIK, there's no plans to change it.

The theme that is the default when you download Drupal is bluemarine, which 
is what the dev list is talking about changing.
