Hi Steven,

I'd like to offer my help maintaining handbook pages. My name is Pancho
and I live in Worms, Germany. My first module contribution (see:
http://drupal.org/project/classified) will be upped in the next two
weeks. Though English is obviously not my native language, I'm sure I
can make myself useful as well in the handbook maintainers team.

When I started working with Drupal two years ago, it was not easy to
find good tutorials and in-depth information to start with. In the
meanwhile the handbook has grown a lot. Still there are many flaws to
completeness, consistency and structure. Some pages even include
erroneous information and are not corrected months after being commented
on (e.g. http://drupal.org/node/71961).

Improving this would not only make life easier for those searching
infos: users would also be a lot more invited to add a page here and
there. In fact, I've been refraining from adding information because I
thought: first improve the information existing, then add new
information.

To help you doing this I'd ask you to grant me the /handbook maintainer
role/. I would use it in a responsible way and discuss major changes in
the issues system. My user id is 15425.

Regards, Pancho
