[documentation] greetings

Greetings all.

As we've had several new folks join up I want to welcome you all.  I
will also mention that I tend to work in bursts, so I am not ignoring
you, just haven't had time to dig into the emails and follow up on
stuff.  I tend to follow a 'do stuff' (preparing for 5.0 release, etc)
with a little break.  The cycle follows family/work/personal - then lots
of Drupal stuff all in a row, repeat cycle.  :-)

So hang out a few days and have fun.
