I would prefer comments in the schema.
I think Harry Slaughter was running an issue in which he wanted to
comment on all the fields someone else pursues a schema module and
commentin' would be a nice addition.

Can someone find out and document the fields in the user table? There
are many which seem to duplicate function or do not have any use that I
can find in the core code. This make it very difficult to create new
modules based on the users properties. Things like
mode
sort
threshold
init
data
are total mysteries. We have no idea which are usable fields in module
creation.

change your comment settings to allow for the comment bar then look at
several of the fields.
init is the initial identifier someone used to log onto your site with.
Either their first email address or their drupal site id

In what program or app would this be done? heidi sql , phpmyadmin...?
