[documentation] Questions following my first documentation efforts

I did some work on this handbook page (my first since joining the
documentation team): http://drupal.org/node/115522
3 questions, two related to a graphic I used.
1. The graphic is a .png of a table with text. I think it looks quite nice
and is readable. But on the usability front, screen readers won't be able to
do a thing with it. I tried to include a text version of the table using
html commenting ( <!-- here is the comment --> ) figuring that a screen
reader could read it via "view source". It appears that the input format
doesn't allow for such commenting.
First I did try to include the table as an html table, but I thought it
looked terrible.
I can't put all the text in the "alt" tag, can I? Even if I could, some
browsers use that text as a tool tip (bad browser, bad).
Any idea on how to make that table more accessible?
2. I used an <img> with an href that goes to the image on my server. Is
there someone with ftp privileges at d.o. that could upload the image to the
appropriate /files directory?
Finally, I tried to be just a little funny with the intro text --please let
me know if that is out of order or if it is just stupid:

I felt very powerful clicking on the edit tab! Fun times.
