[documentation] Placing images in handbook pages -- how to

Fellow documentors...
Please verify that this is the most efficient way to include an image in a
documentation page for someone with documentation privileges:
1. Upload the image as a file attachment to the handbook page.
2. Use the image tag inline, referencing a relative path to the file just
uploaded.
I guess this is kind of obvious, but it took me a while to figure this out.
I usually think of file attachments and inline images in different parts of
my brain. On my sites I do inline images with IMCE or Img_Assist, so doing
it this way didn't come to mind automatically.
If there is a different way -- please do tell, but also confirm if I'm doing
it right.
