[documentation] Where do old handbook pages go to die?

In working on some comment related issues I took a closer look at the
Detailed comment documentation page (http://drupal.org/node/23703)
which raises an issue I could use guidance on. I'm new enough to the
team that I don't know if this has been resolved and I'm not finding
the discussion or if it is an open issue.

Anyway, the Detailed comment documentation page has about half of the
page devoted to Comment Moderation. It has the note that as of 4.7
this is no longer in core and a general reference to contrib modules.
The question I have is what should be done, if anything, to handbook
pages that refer to unsupported versions? Although there's a big bold
warning on the page that this information is basically no longer
relevant to comment.module having it there doesn't seem very user
friendly. Completely getting rid of it or making it available only to
those who can see revisions on the site also doesn't seem like the
appropriate solution.

So, where do old handbook pages go to die?

Thanks,
Josh
