Steve,

+1 to Addi's approach.

I think not attributing aricles on their face gives the handbook a Wikipedia
feel. The page itself isn't authored by anyone, but finding out who was
involved is just one click away.

While it is true that anonymous users can not see the revision tab, I
believe for drupal.org this requirement should be considered a fairly low
barrier.
