[documentation] Contributors to docs need more public recognition

Well, I have only received response from one person about the specific
proposal to list people on the page itself. Yours is #2.

This would be a step in the right direction.

Exactly.
I think there are valid reasons not to do it on the page

I'd prefer it to be automated and built into the system. Just like
when you become a module maintainer, getting credit is just built into
the system.

Well, at least in wikipedia, anonymous users can view it.
