Two questions -

1) Is there any way to edit the content that is displayed in the help 
text for a menu item?  For example when I browse to node/add I see a 
listing of all the node types that are enabled and a brief description 
of each - what if I want to change the description (short of creating my 
own node type).

2) Is there a good overview of the various types of menus that can be 
created and strategies for creating site navigational constructs?
