[support] Calendar, event, and timezone problems

The problem is that I am in the same situation. ;-/
The timezone thing "just works" for me, bu tthen i don't allow users to 
chose a TZ.

Check the user's settings. Even if you disallowed them to change it, 
there might still be old data in the tables which might be used.
