Thanks for your reply. Actually, I have found it can be done with
image+mailhandler+mailsave and giving anonymous users permission to
create image nodes. Mailhandler must be set up to hold content as
unpublished until it is approved.
You are right, however, concerning the burden of approval.
Nevertheless, this is a blog for a temporary event, and the Akismet
module can also help.
