[support] Non-HTML input formats?

there are modules to integrate the following wysiwyg editors into drupal
so that users don't need to use html at all:
http://drupal.org/project/widgeditor
http://drupal.org/project/fckeditor
http://drupal.org/project/htmlarea
http://drupal.org/project/tinymce
http://drupal.org/project/wymeditor
(and maybe others, but tinymce and fck are the most common ones anyway)
and then the modules greg and neil have pointed you to that do exactly
what you were asking for.
