[support] moving contributed modules to /sites/all

Hi,
   I've just taken over a Drupal project which has had contributed
modules places in the core modules directory.

I'd like to move them out of there to /sites/all while keeping all the
settings.

Having never put modules in the core directory myself I'm not sure how
to fix it ...

Any tips on how it should be achieved  would be much appreciated.
