You can link anywhere, on or off the site. To know the URL, visit the page you 
want to link to, and cut & paste it out of the address bar on your web browser.

The freelinking module can make it a little easier to guess the URL on a post, 
but Drupal content isn't *really* suited for that, so you might find it 
difficult. (You might not, also; if you set your content up correctly it can 
work out just fine).
