[support] Default language problem

Hi,

In Drupal 6.x, I added a second language (Greek) for the interface. In the 
admin settings, I set the site default language to Greek. In my account's 
settings, I set the default language to English, having lower weight than the 
Greek language. The problem is: Whatever preferred language I set in my 
account's settings, the site's default language always overrides it. Shouldn't 
the opposite stand?
