[themes] four column layout

Greetings and salutations to all,

I've been looking around to see if anyone had attempted a four column theme
before I spend countless hours attempting it.  I searched the list archives
but didn't find anything. What I'm wanting is the left and right side bars
and then for the articles to wrap into columns similar to that of a
newspaper. Possible? Feasible?
