[consulting] project site based on nodes and workflow

hi there

Got a new site coming up that is basically a project management site.

What i want todo is have a node called "project" (flexinode perhaps), that has multiple
(flexinode) nodes under it called "tasktypeA" "tasktypeB".

My question is - whats the best/easiest way to attach tasks to a project? in other terms -
whats the way to manage relationships between nodes? Should i write some adaptation from
the project node in code that manages this, or is there a drupal way todo it?
