No, there's another option, as I said before in detail. And this option 
is not only Internet-age, but Drupal-powered and available in many 
countries:

1) Get a merchant credit card account
2) Set up ecommerce or übercart for yourself and let clients pay their

There are multiple advantages to this approach
- It's instant, secure and trusted
- Chargeback policies are more vendor-friendly than Paypal
- Currency issues are transparent (and usually done at good rates)
- Payee inconvenience is minimized (most payment systems will let you 
accept multiple card types)
- You demonstrate skill in Drupal e-commerce by adapting it for 
real-world business (ie, YOUR business) use.

If you don't do enough volume to justify your own merchant account, 
partner with someone who already has one. Or create a co-op with other 
consultants.

This option requires some DIY and perhaps some community collaboration, 
but offers the most elegant and long-term efficient solution. Just like 
Drupal.
