This guy sells CDs of Audacity, a completely GPL program people can download
for free.  People have been selling Audacity on Ebay for years.  People sell
a reasonable amount of these CDs.  This is why we have marketing ;-)

OpenBSD also sells CDs.  I think it's how Theo makes his living.

So there is a market for free stuff.
