This is a business centric mail to fellow consultants on a commercial
ready-made theme service, if this is not suitable for this list, I'm not
sure what is. If there is a rule saying no topic of this kind, I would be
very happy to comply with it. If one find a post of no value to him, he
should not even bother with it. Clearly it attracts your attention to check
out the post and the sites. From the number of inquiry emails I received, I
would say it is the right list for communicating such topic.

@George
It will be 'themes' in no time, everybody has to start from somewhere. That
would be Feb 2009, not 9th. So yes, it is brand new. Months of work would
include business setup, legal, accounting, research of theme scenes,
planning of theme features, target user groups, competition analysis, risk
assessment, demo content documentation & preparation, 2 themes (main and
ZincOut), the development and a slew of theming stuffs to happen in the
future.

If you can put up the demo site in 10 min, I would like to hire you as well,
that would save us a lot of time.

Point taken on Info & demo button pop up as a new window, will indicate it
somewhere. All detailed info on the theme are on the demo site, hence the
need to show it as a new window. Demo site not only showcase the theme but
serve as documentation to the theme. I realize most people tend to look at
the first page only, however. You never see this on other Drupal theme sites
before doesn't mean it is a bad way. Take a look at the WWW that is a common
practice. Maybe you can put up a demo site inside a main site, or have a
creative way of showing a demo site not in a new window/tab, would love to
know how you do it.

Blog block is on accordion, it is purposely designed as such to accommodate
future posts. As Jeff pointed out, the jQuery menu does degrade without JS.
I would like to see how your CSS can do eye candy animation without JS. A
tutorial maybe? Besides, it is just a matter of preferences, so is the
'feel', else flash would be out of business long time ago.

And yes, little imagination does count, that's what creative work is about.
Copying one design (little imagination) is called plagiarism and is a
violation of copyright.

The main purpose of a ready made theme is to cut down project cost and time.
Since you can put up a new theme and a site in 10 min, I guess you do not
require such service, but many do.

Thanks for all the criticisms and inputs.

Cheers,
CK Ng
