This doesn't seem like an issue for the Drupal Association.  The DA,
in general, works on issues which can't be solved in the community
directly.  I'd say this is something that can be decided on this list.

My 2 cents on a disclaimer - perhaps it could be part of an overall
"contribute to the handbooks" block like:

"The handbooks are based on user-contributed documentation and may not
be completely accurate.  You can help make them better by joining the
documentation team."

That way we get the message across without focusing on it too much.
