[support] weblinks or directory

hello everybody.
I looked alot in the module pages at drupal.org for a web links directory module but found none. some forum threats do mention such a module, anybody have a better idea?
what i want to achieve is to publish pages of links in various catigories and to give users the ability to suggest their favorite websites too.
