Hi,

1. Install profile.module if it is not installed yet, and define the "Location" field in the profile fields.
2. A quick hack may be something like this: Search for user_mail() in the module, and where you find the line where it sends the welcome mail to the user, just add a user_mail() command with your own e-mail address hardcoded. I am sure there are more elegant ways to do this, but this is the quickest dirty-fix there is.

Hi. I would like to do the following on my drupal site:
1. Add a field (location) to user registration.
2. Have a mail sent to me that a user has registered (its a low volume
site, so not an issue).
Pls give me some ideas how i can do the same.
