[drupal-support] Authentication Module for local users

Hi,

I've somehow managed to write an authentication module. However, users are 
required to enter the username as username at server before it gets activated. 

Would it be possible to direct all logins (with and without the @server part) 
to this module? The only exception should be the admin account (which I will 
use for admin purposes).
