as a lark in installed event-4.7.0 and 2 of the links came up. since the 
links work for other catagories under create content I am inclined to 
find out what the difference is. i guess i will have to look into how 
the blog entry, book page, forum topic, page, polls, story differs from 
event-cvs, event-4.7.0 and event-4.6.0
