[support] Custom text for any node type

What is the best method of adding some
custom text to a node? I'd like the text
to support linking and formating (as
with comments). In most cases the text
will be very short.

I'd like to have this text in the block
containing the node content verses
creating another block as with HelpTip.

Any suggestions?
