I built a magazine's site on top of Drupal.

Another high-profile magazine-like site that uses Drupal is The Onion.

It really boils down to how much customization you need. Drupal does fairly
well out-of-the-box for handling a publishing paradigm/model, and the
hundreds of available modules often fulfill the majority of your functional
needs.

Subject: [support] Drupal for an online magazine

Hi,

Can someone pass on some links to how Drupal might be used for an online
magazine type website. I've been using Drupal for a poetry magazine and
writer's community for a while and want to see how others might have used
drupal for such a publication. I might want to use two sites/installs where
one is just a magazine and the other is more of a writer's community.

thanks,

Bruce
