Hi Abhishek,

1. Once you're logged in to the administration pages, as an administrator, go here: www.yourdomain.com/?q=admin/access/roles
=> Over here you create the roles you want to define for your site, such as "webmaster" or "editor", and so on.

2. With the roles defined, you now go here: www.yourdomain.com/?q=admin/access
=> This is where you decide which user has which access on your site. You choose the accesses per module, per role.

3. Now that you have the roles defined and the appropriate access given to each role, you now go here: www.yourdomain.com/?q=admin/user
=> Here you click "edit" on each user account you want to assign the role to, for example, if you have a user "pete", click on the "edit" link of "pete" right next to the "last access" column. In the new window that opens, you can choose the roles which user "pete" must have.

I hope this helps!
