That will work for a base install and for most normal operations, I believe.  
You'll run into trouble when you enable a lot of modules, however, and the 
admin/modules page has to parse ALL available modules, which will quickly 
pass the 8 MB point if you add a few of the larger contrib modules (like 
location).  I'd suggest 16 or 24 MB, personally, in order to give yourself 
enough elbow room.
