I'm kind of torn on whether the AJAX stuff is a good or a bad
thing...on the one hand, it means I'm not building or sending ALL of
the menu on each page load.  On the other hand, my guess is that doing
even a partial bootstrap for the ability to get that next section of
menu is probably pretty inefficient on its own.  The machine is
sitting idle on its own dedicated hardware at the moment...perhaps
I'll do some tests....
