[support] accept pdf's as images?

hmm, well i'd like to be able to 'create content - images' and then 
upload a pdf file. i'd also in our wysiwyg editor be able to embed a pdf 
as an image. maybe it does run up against the limites of browsers?

right now what i do is convert every pdf to a jpg.
