[support] node image bulk upload? - no CCK

Sander,

You need to enable multiple values for a CCK field.

You need to go to Admin --> content types --> select "edit" for your content
type --> Manage Fields --> then select the CCK field you've created for the
images --> then scroll to the bottom of the page and select the box that
says "multiple".

At that point things vary depending on the cck module for that field. I'm
using the embed media module and for the embeded Flickr pic field when I
select the "multiple" box I the "create flikr pic" upload form now shows 5
boxes for entering URLs of Flikr pics. I don't see a setting where I can
change how many of those boxes appear on the form. My memory is that for
other CCK fields there is a configurable selection I make where I choose how
many iterations of the multiple value field you want to show on the form.

I know it was the goal in Drupal 6 to significantly upgrade handling of
multiple value fields for cck fields but I don't know if that made it in
before the code freeze.

This still isn't an interface where you browse and click on a folder and
voila you upload the contents of that folder into your node.

But maybe it will suffice for you for now.

Let us know what happens.
