[support] Some advice needed on setting up a new site

Off the cuff, I'd say create a cck type with the fields you need. If you 
can get your data into a csv then you can use node import to bring it 
into your drupal db. Use views to generate your searches. I'm also a 
huge fan of faceted search for stuff like this.
