[support] Upgrade and move a site at the same time?

I've got a site running on drupal-5.  I want to upgrade it to  
drupal-6, and at the same time I'm also moving the site to a new  
hosting service.  What's the best strategy here?  Can I just dump my  
5.x database on one host, copy the sql file to the other, and load it  
directly into my clean 6.x database?
