Although this could be a bug for how windows work, Try granting your INETPUB_??? user write access to the settings.php file. Drupal tries to modify this file to help you get your db set up.

Hi,

I am trying to adddrupal 6.12 on my WIMP (windows, IIS , mysql, php) web server and I get the following error
