I can't believe after all the information I provided I forgot to explain
that part very well. ;)

What happens is after logging in with the newly changed password:
Sorry, unrecognized username or password. Have you forgotten your
password?<http://bartosandrini.com/user/password>

Logging in with the link provided in an email produces this result:
ACCESS DENIED
You are not authorized to access this page.
