[support] Fatal error: Allowed memory size

Kevin,

It sounds like the *server *is a Windows server. That's the relavant part
here; not what your local box is.

I'd pursue the settings.php way. But don't do it via FTP. Do it via your
server company's file manager. And you might have to loosen up permissions
in advance of editing the file and then tighten them back up after you have
edited the file.
